If you hire the services of MPEntertainment then you can be assured that it will be me, Phil Tolhurst, who provides the entertainment at your function.  I will not take a booking and then pass it on to another disco operator, no matter how good they maybe, without your complete understanding and consent.

If you hire MPEntertainment to be your wedding DJ or provide professional mobile disco services at your function you can be assured that:

1 - I have provided the entertainment for hundreds of functions and have the experience to ensure that the right style and balance of music is played at your reception.

2 – I will consult with you regarding the music selection your require at your reception and will guarantee to play those songs that you wish me to play and just as importantly not to play those songs that you do not.

3 - I will not spend the evening “chatting” over the mic. We let the music do the talking while you and your guests do the dancing. When working I do not drink alcohol and I am a non smoker.

4 - I use professional quality equipment that is clean and well maintained. It is regularly PAT tested and frequently upgraded. I also carry backups of essential items of equipment for example a spare amplifier.

5 – I hold £10m of Public Liability Insurance via my membership of the Musicians Union.

6 - I am an active committee member of the South Eastern Discotheque Association (SEDA).

7 - I will always be dressed smartly and allow you to specify whether I attired in :

  • A dinner jacket & bow tie
  • A smart suit
  • A smart but casual outfit.
