Pricing a mobile disco is not as straight forward and some people think. Here at MPEntertianment we receive a lot of enquiries along the lines of “How much for a mobile disco?” which is a good question. However, there are certain factors that need to be considered before an exact price can be given, these include;

1 – Location of the venue; This will have a direct effect on travel time and costs.

2 – Setup time; if there is a requirement for the disco to be setup early in the day then this will usually incure a charge, however, if we are in attendance then our PA system and radio microphones will be at the disposal of the wedding party for speaches etc.

3 – Type of Function; The average wedding reception in the UK usually lasts for 5 hours, 7:00pm to 12:00pm. Dinner Dances, Charity Nights, Proms and Birthday pareties will all vary greatly. This is always taken into consideration when we quote you a price.

4 – Finish time; If the function is due to finish in the early hours of the morning this will also be taken into consideration when supplying a quote.

5 – What additional services if any you have decided to include in your entertainment hire package.

For a 21st Birthday Party at a Golf Club near Orpington in Kent setting up at 18:00, starting the entertainment at 19:30 and finishing at midnight we would quote less for our services than we would a wedding reception in a marquee in Surrey setting up at 11:00, providing background music throughtout the day, use of radio mics for the speeches, starting the entertainment at 19:00 and finishing at 1:00 am.
