The business is run by Margie and Phil Tolhurst with an emphasis on service and quality.
In addition to running MPEntertainment Phil is also a journalist specialising in writing about the Mobile Disco and Entertainment Industry and the Publicity Co-ordinator of the South Eastern Discotheque Association SEDA.
The aim of MPEntertainment is to offer the best professional mobile disco entertainment available for hire in Kent, Sussex, Essex and SE London that is backed by a genuine belief in a professional customer orientated service.
If you hire a standard disco with MPEntertainment you can rest assured that we will cover pretty much all music genres; ranging from Rock n Roll through to eighties pop and on to modern funky house, RnB and Garage. In addition to this we will provide a top quality light-show to really give your occasion that quintessential disco party atmosphere. Most importantly we always aim to tailor our services to suit your personal requirements.
We are also able to offer you a range of additional services that can help enhance your event. These include venue up-lighting, PA and radio microphone hire. In addition to this if we are in attendance all day at your function we would be happy to act as the host/compare for your function; delivering any announcements playing suitable background music and generally helping to enhance the professional delivery of your event whether it’s a dinner dance or a wedding reception.

When we decided to setup MPEntertainment it was because too many times we had been to a function where the DJ and their equipment were well below the standards we felt we should expect.
Therefore, our aim is to provide the kind of professional entertainment for a function that would exceed most people’s expectations – without charging fees that put us beyond the reach of most people.
